Todays group was small but exciting. We met at the Sea Flame.
Marge Cacioppo won the door prize this month. Note cards, red hat pin & a red hat scarf.

The hat of the day would have to go to Joyce Murry. She looked so cute in her hat.

April's Red Hat luncheon was held on the 18th at the Back Porch in Lake Alfred. Rosie Fyffe and JoAnn Lyons were the co-chairs. The generosity and talents of those ladies showed through with the decorative favors, wrapped door prize and the details of the arrangements for us all. Tragically JoAnn's husband lost his life just that morning due to a heart attack. Our Queen Mom considered canceling our event but thought it was better to honor these gals by all of us getting together to share their sorrow as Red Hat sister and to celebrate life as well.

Following our lunch we opened our goody bags to find either Red Hat earrings or a bracelet for each of us. The crystal cracker tray, our door prize was won by Donna Callahan. The 50/50 was won by Lynn Hice. After a few brief announcenents we were all treated to yet another gift of a Red Hat pin attached to the Red Hat Commandments brought to us by Marian Bivens.

Most of the ladies enjoyed shopping at the facility after that. The Barn had antiques & a very nice gift and garden shop.

May all of you ladies enjoy MOSN if you are staying here or your time away if you are traveling. There will be a wine & cheese in October & maybe a luncheon but for sure we will be in full swing in November.

All of our prayers and thoughts go out to JoAnn and her family.

Magnolia Tea House
Another great outing with the Motorhome Mamas. We enjoyed a good lunch today. We introduced ourselves with a little memo to try to remember each other. Lynn Hice & Margie Davis made little favours for the ladies.

We will meet again at Sandy's (Queen Mom) for wine & cheese on April 5th 3:30 to 5:30 PM. In lieu of crackers & cheese a $2.00 donation will be appreciated. On April 18th we will meet for lunch again. We will be going to the Barn. Departure time from the parking lot will be 11:15 AM. Our reservations are for 11:30 AM.

Remember ladies we need to get our purple pj's & a tea cup.

Red Hat Parade March 11, 2006
Some Motorhome mamas enjoyed a day in Davenport to watch our Queen Mom parade and dance with the Red Hat Deer Dancers. The vendors were offering some great deals at the parade. Prices were hard to beat.

Well girls just want to have fun....Another successful outing at Columbia Restaurant in Celebration.

Our First Outing

We had our first outing today, January 24th. Lunch was served at the Tea Hotel in Davenport, Florida hosted by our Queen Mother, Sandy Coutermarsh. Seventeen lovely ladies in purple & red attended. Our red hat chapter will be called Motorhome Mamas. A vote was taken on that name. It is very suitable for our group here at MOSN.

Our next luncheon on February 21st will be in Celebration at the Columbia Restaurant. We will meet in the parking lot at 11:15, leaving by 11:30. Lunch will be served at 12:00. It will be hosted by Sandy Coutermarsh (Queen Mother) & Carol Shukert.

Up coming luncheons will be hosted by Lynn Hice & Margie Davis on March 21. Barbara Warren & Roz McMullen will host on April 18. The chapter will resume its luncheon again November 21, hosted by Jean Stein, Jone Porter & Trudie Wright.
