Well, our first outing was at My Cottage in Lakeland, hosted by Joyce Y. and Melanie G. Everyone recieved a red sun visor to decorate. The best decorated red visor will win a prize at the outing on January 8. So take your time & get creative.

We will be having a wine & cheese party at the Queen's house on Wednesday Nov. 7 at 3 til when ever. You know how it is at Sandy's place.

December 4 we will be having our tea party. Get your tea cups. Get ready for the swap and make sure you have plenty of bling.
Sometime, either in November or December we will be going to a play in Winter Haven, Smokey Joe's Cafe. More info coming. (canceled)
Our luncheon started with a moment of silence for Barbara Warren. A donation will be made to her favorite charity from the Motorhome Mamas.

February we will be hosting the Deer Creek Red hatters for lunch. Get ready for that. Remember how much fun we had last year over at Deer Creek when we dressed in our PJ's.

We had some members attending their first luncheon. Our membership is up to 40 now. Welcome newbies.

Nancy won the 50/50 & Bonny won the door prize. A cute red hat letter holder.

Congrats! both winners were new members, way to go.

Good Bye Joyce-A great party to say good bye to one of our wackiest redhatter. Joyce, you will be missed by all of us. You have brought so much joy into all of our lives here at MOSN. No one can ever take your place.

Joyce won an award for the best dressed at the purple PJ Party & another award for the most creative red hat.

So many red hatters showed up to say good bye to Joyce. Thanks Sandy for putting on the ritz.

April 3, 2007 -Mimi's Cafe

Andrea & Renate hosted a luncheon at Mimi's Cafe at the Lakeside Mall. We were able to have a separate room to ourselves. Everyone ordered from the menu which was quite extensive. A total of 21 member enjoyed the company of each other. Andrea & Renate had put together very cute favors for each of us... a bath scrub puff with candies & a yellow duckie in a red hat, wrapped in red hat paper. Nice job ladies! As a door prize, they each made a scarf which was won by Annette ( a new member).

Several new members joined us & every had a great time. The 50/50 was won by Kathy C. (a record high of $26.00)

Queen mom was given a gift of a Red Hat plate made by Andrea for her birthday. Sandy also announced that the next season the luncheons will be on the first Tuesday of the month & all other activities will be in addition to the lunches.

Joyce Y. & Melanie will host our first event for the next season. Safe travels to everyone. See you in November. Enjoy the summer.
